This path is for someone who feels they already lead a team, a family, a classroom, a volunteer group, but hasn't been formally recognized or authorized for formal leadership. Or for the person who wants to lead but feels unqualified. You don't need a title to lead. You need character first and then the will.
The greatest leaders in scripture led without formal authority before they led with it. Daniel led even while he was a captive in Babylon. Esther stepped into danger at a most critical moment for her people. Matthew’s job made him hated in society, but when called, he followed and eventually wrote the book which is the primary gospel for the Jewish audience. Leadership in the heroic framework is earned through character, and never waits for titles or permission.
The Mentor is central here, both finding one and becoming one. Alliance is critical, servant leaders build teams, not followings. Control of Power addresses the discipline gap. Pride, unrefined talent and passion without restraint damages the people you're working to serve. The Quest gives leadership its direction, you're not leading toward a position, you're leading toward a mission.
Mark 10:42-45, "whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant." Servant leadership isn't a management philosophy. It's a calling with a cost.
